There are not enough resources in the region to treat those in behavioral health crises. Those that do exist are geographically isolated, leaving large portions of the region without access to care in case of a crisis.

Cooperated with local initiatives to being developing a business and operational plan for a crisis center. Explored options for an appropriate fiduciary to receive donations. Inventoried professionals in the area in order to identify and share therapists and clinicians. Explored potential locations for the crisis center.

Secured funding for and developed an operational and business plan for the crisis center. This will be used for fundraising in the future. Identified exemplar crisis support services across the country to use as models for regional development.

  • Fundraise to secure a building for the Crisis Center.
  • Implement the operational and business plans.
  • Help support our progress by joining our project and donating whatever you can to the development of the Crisis Center!
